While many service providers claim to follow industry best practice in IT Services Management, Maxxam was the first organization in Australasia (and just the 19th in the world) to be certified against BS 15000/AS8018 standard. Since then, Maxxam has maintained its position at the forefront of best practice in Australia. In 2005, Maxxam repeated its achievement when it became the first organization in Australia to be certified against the international standard of ISO/IEC 20000, which supersedes BS15000/AS8018. Maxxam has retained this certification in 2007 following a surveillance audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.

Certification was awarded after a rigorous audit of all Maxxam's Processes - from Change Management to service delivery and operations. Maxxam was able to clearly demonstrate that we have the best IT service management processes in place to benchmark our service delivery.
