Component Failure Impact Analysis (CFIA)
Component Failure Impact Analysis helps your organisation identify which of the existing system components will lead to an outage of the entire system in the instance of a component failure. The analysis includes:
- Pinpointing which components do not have an existing backup or alternate resource for the system
- Assess the chances of failure or outage in each component
- Establish an overall component criticality and risk score which forms the basis for justification of future investments to enhance or protect the service availability
