  • Where Maxxam started in 1993. This is the Maxxam office in Melbourne.

    1990s

    Establishment and foundation

    Maxxam begins by offering PC sales and desktop support for DOS and Windows. Soon, networking and the internet support are added.

  • Maxxam Computer Systems has provided services and IT networks that you can build on for more that 25 years.

    2000s

    Maxxam becomes the first ITIL certified company in Australasia and one of the first with ISO 20000 globally.

    These quality processes are the foundation of our services and sets us up for the big changes from local networks and desktop PCs to the internet and mobile world.

    2010s

    Maxxam begins offering cloud and hosting services as 4G mobile phone networks and better smartphones make remote-access from anywhere fast and affordable.

    2020s

    Maxxam’s service desk, secure network and data access, remote backup and recovery services helped clients through the COVID pandemic and the work-from-home requirements.

    Today, the increased use of AI and the need for secure access to data and integrations between services becomes more important.
